What is your role at BGR? Describe a typical or memorable day on the job:
Paige: I am typically purchasing or dividing the incoming inventory. I love days where I get to see my favorite brands like Tea, Hanna Anderson, and Peek! I also love seeing the Disney Princess dolls come in.
Kyle: I’m usually the one cleaning the gear like strollers, pack n plays, and exersaucers. You name it and I was probably the one who gave it a good ol’ cleaning. I’m also one of the purchasers and you can even find me ringing you up on the register. I’m like the Jack-of-all-trades!
What is your favorite part of your job:
Paige: I love working with my husband and best friends! I also love creating organization for our backroom and planning events like our Halloween and Christmas parties!
Kyle: I love working with my wife! I also really enjoy finding out how things work. For instance, finding out how a stroller’s folding mechanism works and where to WD-40 it if it’s getting a little squeaky or how to take off its wheel and replace the inner tubing it if necessary. It makes me feel like a mechanic!
When you’re not at BGR, where might we find you:
Paige: I enjoy relaxing at home on days off – watching Netflix and playing video games. I also enjoy shopping for scrapbooking supplies, checking out comic book stores and going out to the movies.
Kyle: Relaxing at home with Paige. I also really enjoy going on long walks. I like finding different routes to get home or to my favorite comic book shop!
What is something people would be surprised to learn about you:
Paige: I’m a hardcore Game of Thrones fan and I love the zombie-killing video game Left 4 Dead.
Kyle: I’ve studied ceramics and pottery for 9 years and I love it! I’ve gotten really good at molding pots to the perfect shape and firiing them with the most beautiful glazes.

Position: Store Manager
What is your role at BGR? Describe a typical or memorable day on the job:
My role is to make everyone happy. I am a manager so I do a little bit of everything, from saving the tagging ninjas from the random spider to helping out with purchasing and dividing. A typical day is me starting on the sales floor then slowly proceeding to running around helping as many of our BGR friends and team members as I can!
What is your favorite part about the job?
Just about everything! Sure-cleaning up the occasional baby spit isn’t the most exciting thing to do but hey, it’s good practice! My other favorite part is seeing the excitement on my BGR friend’s faces as I help them find all the goodies they are looking for and learning the different stories of each and every person who walks through our doors.
When you’re not at BGR, where might we find you?
Somewhere outdoors exploring with my husband! We both love the outdoors, but we also enjoy binge watching Netflix when it gets cold outside.
What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?
I have a HUGE heart for animals and the homeless. My ultimate goal in life is to open an animal rescue and a homeless shelter to help get those in need back on their feet. I also love children (I have nieces, nephews, and a god daughter!) though I do not have any of my own, I can’t wait to have them! I also want to open and run my own bakery in the La Mesa Village.

What is your role at BGR? Describe a typical or memorable day on the job:
I enjoy doing a little bit of everything at BGR like tagging clothes and testing the toys. I am usually out on the sales floor where all the action is! A memorable day on the job for me would be doing some purchasing and also helping and meeting new BGR friends!
What is your favorite part of your job:
My favorite part of my job is working with my close friends and family and helping other families find just what they need!
When you’re not at BGR, where might we find you?
I am usually out and about with my friends! We enjoy nights out on the town and also having intense nights of Mario Kart Racing. I am also a big reader and love Stephen King books!
What is something people would be surprised to learn about you:
I am super shy. Once I warm up to you I am quite the opposite!

What is your role at BGR? Describe a typical or memorable day on the job: I tag and prepare clothes, then get them out onto the racks. It’s always memorable when we dress up for Halloween and have fun with the kids!
What is your favorite part about the job? My favorite part of the job is getting to work with my daughter and son-in-law. What could be better than working with people you love : )
When you’re not at BGR, where might we find you? On our days off, my husband and I like to walk at the beach or take our books to read at the bay.
What is something people would be surprised to learn about you? I am a real lover of rock and roll. Not too many things better than a Bon Jovi concert right up front!

What is your role at BGR? Describe a typical or memorable day on the job:A memorable day would be particularly productive day. My role is a little bit of everything from sales floor to tagging clothes and accessories to organizing and cleaning. It’s always a beautiful day when we can fill the shelves and racks on the sales floor.
What is your favorite part about the job? My favorite part of working at BGR is the wonderful people I get to work along side when I’m here. It’s also fun to get to see toys and books I enjoyed as a child, it’s a nice blast from the past!
When you’re not at BGR, where might we find you?
When I’m not at work I Iove spending my time outside hiking and working out or hanging out with my two fur babies, Bo and Belle.
What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?
Up until I was about 10 or so thought I was allergic to big foot. Both my older sisters had several allergies and when I was little I asked my mom what I was allergic to and I guess so I didn’t feel left out she told me big foot and I believed her for a long time.

What is your role at BGR? Describe a typical or memorable day on the job: I am usually found behind the scenes cleaning toys or tagging cute little clothes. Once in awhile, you’ll find me on the sales floor which is fun too, because I do love getting to chat with our customers!
What is your favorite part about the job? Posting toys on social media! I love posting items that parents are looking for. I also love keeping our toy shelves stocked!
When you’re not at BGR, where might we find you? Running our 4 kiddos place-to-place and coordinating their lives on Pinterest.
What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?
I’m the President of Friends of SCPA, the best school in San Diego Unified!

What is your role at BGR? Describe a typical or memorable day on the job:
My role at BGR is to maintain organization of the sales floor and to assist anyone who has questions about one of our items.
What is your favorite part about the job?
My favorite part about my job is seeing all the cute babies, seeing cool toys, or cute clothing when I’m in the back room tagging.
When you’re not at BGR, where might we find you
When I’m not at BGR you will most likely find me at the beach with my dog Pua or jet skiing on a hot day, eating burgers because its my favorite food!
What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?
People would be surprised that I have never watched Star Wars and that I am left handed.
