Mission Statement

To serve and assist families with children in San Diego with a special emphasis on low income households. The majority of our clothing items are between $1.00-$3.00, while other items for sale are listed at 50%-90% off the suggested retail price.

BGR does not believe in a large corporate structure. All of our full time staff is currently composed of managers who helped either create the current BGR in 2009 or have been with the company for several years. At heart we are a family business: many of us have grown up together and some of us are related or even married!  Changes coming to the Family Rewards Program:

As a resale business, we are always learning to adjust- whether that be with inventory, prices, recalls, etc. Our goals have always been (and still are) to keep our prices as low as possible, to offer the best selection, and the best customer service. The cost of doing business increases every year and we once again must adjust. But, we are NOT increasing prices. We are NOT paying less for your items. We ARE, however, decreasing the discount percentage of our Family Rewards Program. While it is something that we do not want to do, we must.
Starting April 1st, 2019 the new Family Rewards Program will read:
“Spend $100 and receive a ‘15% off your entire purchase’ coupon.”
The coupon still never expires. It can be used on any purchase. The $100 is calculated before taxes. Does not combine with other coupons or sales.
Even though we have to alter the reward, we will be offering more coupons and sales than before throughout the year. Many coupons will be exclusively distributed through e-mail as well as social media.

Selling Counter is Open Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. We begin at 10:00AM. Depending on how much inventory we’re receiving, the counter typically closes between 1:00PM and 5:00PM. Call us at (619) 281-2229 to see if the counter is open and what the current wait time is.
